Bling and Bag sale - it's a first for BELVOIR Parish..

Belvoir Parish Church seem to be the first to have taken up the challenge of organising a BLING & BAG SALE.

A massive amount of ... bling - and bags were gathered from the congregation and friends of the organisers and over £1000 pounds was raised (towards an Orphanage project in India).

Like every good multiplication miracle - there were still 12 basketfulls of bling left over at the end of the evening! So if you want to organise your own and would like to kick start your own event with some fresh bling or like to hear more of how Belvoir made this work - email us at the office@summermadness.co.uk

TITANIC 'wardrobe swap' & acoustic cafe

JUNE 22nd  @ 7pm  (so you've also got time to go out later!)

What a fantastic chance to get your hands of some new-ish gear and have a great time with a few mates around a coffee and some buns

THE PLAN:

• Bring a few items of clothing down to the Dock (all cleaned up and probably the night before) Collect a token for each item.
• Arrive a little early (if you didn't make it on Thursday)
• Swap your tokens for an all-new outfit ! (& yes there will be extra tokens given for various types of 'high value gear' etc)
• Drink your coffee 
• Sit back and enjoy the music, the craic and
• Your new look!

Titanic quarter's newest, latest, only-est pop up cafe THE DOCK

THE PROCEEDS:

Entrance is just £5 and all the money raised on the evening will go to FIELDS OF LIFE and their well digging programme in UGANDA (plus you get free coffee and cupcakes!!!)

So, go make so dosh for your local charity and put a smile on the face of your young people starved of fashion for the next few weeks !

PARKING AT THE BAREFOOT WALK

So Belfast isn't exactly know for it's cheap car parking - but at our Barefoot Walk it's free!

Please don't even try to park along any of the roads or streets close to Stormont - you can drive straight in here: via the entrance of the STONEY ROAD.

TOMS offer prizes for the Barefoot Walk

Those lovely people at TOMS are offering some snazzy prizes for the Barefoot walk on the 10th.. It is their 'One Day without Shoes' after all !!!!

So to be in with a chance - there are 10 individual prizes for the person who sends me the names of 25 people that they are bringing with them on the day (we will hold a draw if need be on the day - and all 25 must appear on the 10th, - please include your name and group association on the email).
These  'individual prize packs' contain a pair of TOMS shoes, sweatshirt, T-shirt and scarf !

and there is a Grand Group Prize - of 25 pairs of TOMS shoes and invitation / paints for a 'style your sole' workshop - to colour in your own TOMS shoes... This will go to the group that has the most people pre-registered for the walk... All of the names of the group must be submitted before or on the day of the walk.

OK... let's 'fess up' here and leave a few comments (anonymous or otherwise) as to how many T-shirst, jeans, tops, handbags, shirts, ties, trousers, sweats.... we all own..

Well what a week... photo shoot at Stormont, press releases, TOMS get on board with prizes for the Barefoot Walk, Johann Muller video released on Facebook and even the Dean of Belfast hangs up his boots!
